We’re going to begin featuring a regular Wednesday segment on all things Star Wars Rebels. What we fans think of as the “off-season” is anything but for the cast and crew of Star Wars Rebels. The writers are writing, the animators or animating, the producers are producing and even though the voice actors aren’t currently voicing, they are all busy on other projects.
Many of them are busy at conventions or giving interviews. Some are probably looking for that next acting job. And some just can’t stop finding things to do. This brings me to why I’m starting the series one day early…
One of the visibly busiest right now is Freddie Prinze Jr.(pun intended). We know FPJr as the voice of Kanan Jarrus on Disney XD’s animated Star Wars Rebels (and most of us know he’s had a prolific acting career prior to Rebels). I’m going to be bringing you more about this interesting and diverse creative talent in future updates but today I need to alert you to the season premier of “First Impressions” on USA network.
First Impressions is hosted by Freddie Prinze Jr. Prinze is joined by what the show calls “Expert in Residence” – voice legend Dana Carvey. The show premiers Tuesday, May 10th at 10:30/9:30C on USA network.
First Impressions is a weekly half hour competition. Each week will feature additional celebrities like Steve Carell, Jay Leno who will coach contestants through a variety of challenges as they compete to be crowned Americas best amateur impressionist.

Keith Johnson
REPORTER
Keith is the proud patriarch of a Star Wars fan family of four. Born and raised in Chicago and the north shore suburbs, Keith describes his life as a progression of moves ever closer to Walt Disney World. Close enough now to see the Magic Kingdom fireworks from his back yard, Keith currently divides his time evenly between family and volunteer work for eNable. Specifically, Keith is one of very few permanent, active volunteers working for the Enable Community Foundation. ECF is the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports, coordinates and directs a worldwide group of volunteer e-Nable members who give away 3D printed prosthetics to kids and veterans. Keith & family are up on most local Star Wars connections and frequent the Central Florida theme parks and festivals. They are fans and collectors of all things Disney or Star Wars, from LEGO to Infinity to Star Tours to Clone Wars & Rebels. Expect some great footage and short interviews of WDW Star Wars events and celebrities.
