Remembering the 1984 CBS Network Premiere of Star Wars: A New Hope

On February 26, 1984, the CBS Network premiered Star Wars: A New Hope which took in over 39% of all television viewers.

The event became a historic release, and was hosted by Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill. The following is the featurette played during the premiere.

To remember this day, I feel that a viewing of A New Hope is needed this weekend!
