This year’s celebration is going to be one of the biggest yet, and as one Star Wars blogger Tweeted earlier from the event, “The line has been about two Star Destroyers long.” But don’t let that intimidate you. If you haven’t already, get down there now!

What’s happening – Thursday April 13:

40 Years of Star Wars

This presentation is the star of the celebration today. A must for Star Wars fans! Hosted by Warwick Davis, the panel will feature Kathleen Kennedy, Billy Dee Williams, Hayden Christensen, Peter Mayhew, Mark Hamill, Ian McDiarmid, Anthony Daniels, Dave Filoni and…maybe more surprises?

Dave Filoni: Animated Origins and Unexpected Fates

Dave Filoni, Executive Producer and Supervising Director of Star Wars Rebels and Supervising Director of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, is joined on stage by creative executive Pablo Hidalgo. They’ll discuss some of the most cherished characters to come out of Lucasfilm Animation, reveal some untold origins of heroes and rogues, and with rare clips and artwork, they will track the surprising fates of this generation of Star Wars characters.

Chuck Wendig: A Small Group of Characters Can Change the Whole Galaxy

“Chuck Wendig has a whole buncha books at this point (including a few Star Wars books, ahem), and dispenses writing advice at his popular blog, Here he’ll be helping you create amazing characters and, more importantly, teaching you how to let those characters create and drive the plot organically.”

Star Wars Reporter will be following and reporting on all the events! Follow us on all our social media to stay up to date.
