Star Wars Film Concert Series Performed by the New York Philharmonic

The New York Philharmoic has announced a series of concerts featuring the iconic John Williams music from the Star Wars films. The series will start with A New Hope on September 15 and 16th, The Empire Strikes Back September 26-28th, Return of the Jedi October 4-5th, and The Force Awakens October 6-7th.

“Experience these films as never before at the world’s first-ever live performance of Star Wars — Film Concert Series! Don’t miss your chance to see these epic films on screen with the unparalleled New York Philharmonic performing the iconic music of John Williams.”

John Williams is a legendary composer who has created some of the most recognizable and famous film scores over sixty years. Star Wars wouldn’t have that heroic and epic feel without the addition of Williams’ brilliant music. As George Lucas said at the recent Star Wars Celebration 40th Anniversary panel, John Williams is Star Wars’ “Secret Sauce”.

Now fans have the chance to experience this iconic music as performed by one of the world’s finest assembly of musicians.
