Star Wars Reporter is Going to MegaCon Orlando!

Gather round! The Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida will once again serve as host to a massive gathering of science fiction, comic book and genre fans for this year’s much anticipated Megacon, which takes place Memorial Day weekend, running from May 25th through May 28th. All told, in excess of one hundred thousand people are expected to show, and Star Wars Reporter will be right in the thick of it! Bringing you exclusive coverage on numerous attractions and superstar guests from all across the galaxy, we’ll show you why Megacon promises to be an event to remember.

Fans will have a chance to mingle with stars from that galaxy far, far away, as Ray Park (of Darth Maul fame) and Spencer Wilding (Darth Vader in Rogue One) are scheduled to show. Some very special guests making rare appearances are also on the bill, including the legendary Tim Curry, the immortal Stan Lee, Richard Dean Anderson of Stargate SG-1 fame, Gaten Matarazzo and Caleb Mclaughlin from Stranger Things, Star Trek’s (yes, we’re excited about the other guys, too!) Commander Data, Brent Spiner, and Jeri Ryan. Megacon will also feature stars from all sorts of beloved film and television franchises, including: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Back to the Future, the X-men movies, The Flash, Harry Potter, and many more.

There’ll be photo-ops available, exclusive merchandise, and a chance to play over 100 classic video games. Learn from the masters in the professionals workshop, interact in the Q&A questions, and explore the vast artists alley. There’s an abundance of activities to partake in, and Star Wars Reporter will be milling about, finding all the greatest events. We’re very excited, and expect to bring you coverage on all the happenings via our website, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Who will we run into? What stories will our fellow fans and honored guests have to tell? We shall see!

It promises to be a fantastic weekend, as Megacon Orlando brings us their largest and most spectacular convention yet.
