Solo: A Star Wars Story Comes to Denny’s with a NEW Menu Items and Trading Cards

Much to the dismay of my wife, Denny’s is one of my favorite restaurants. Where else can you get a Grand Slam breakfast, with extra bacon and sausage, anytime – day or night? Denny’s is teaming up with my other favorite obsession, Star Wars, to create a delicious promotion featuring the NEW Solo movie!

Starting on April 3rd, Denny’s will launch a Star Wars themed menu as well as a series of collectible trading cards. Money made from the cards will be donated to support the “No Kid Hungry” campaign.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with the team at Lucasfilm and No Kid Hungry for the much-anticipated release of ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story,” said John Dillon, chief marketing officer for Denny’s. “We’re incredibly excited to join forces and bring America an out-of-this-world campaign that will not only feed the excitement of every Star Wars fan and Denny’s guest, but will also do some good along the way by helping fight childhood hunger and raise awareness for this important mission.”

This is a great commercial and features young kids portraying the role of Lando and Han Solo as they battle over a game of “Sabacc”.
