First Image of Mark Hamill from History Channel’s “Knightfall” Series Revealed

Wow! Mark as we’ve never seen him! And I love it!

Back in August 2018 it was announced that Star Wars veteran, Mark Hamill, would join the cast of History Channel’s medieval series, Knightfall, and the first image has been revealed.

“Knightfall takes viewers inside the medieval politics and warfare of the Knights Templar, the most powerful, wealthy and mysterious military order of the Middle Ages who were entrusted with protecting Christianity’s most precious relics.”

Hamill will play battle hardened veteran Talus ,who “fought in the Crusades and spent over a decade in captivity”. Talus and his experiences sounds like, if you’ve seen The Last Jedi, a perfect fit for the Star Wars actor to portray.

I followed the show in season one and felt that the setting looked amazing and had a very engaging story that gave a Vikings/Game of Thrones feel to it, even though it is based on more fantasy than history. I love this gritty and hardened look for Mark and I look forward to his more gruff portrayal!

Knightfall Season 2 will premiere on History Channel in 2019.
