David Irvine Resurrects Star Wars Images in “Re-Directed Art”

Canadian artist, David Irvine from The Gnarled Branch, has created a unique series of Star Wars themed creations he calls “Re-directed art”. Re-directed art is when you use existing unwanted paintings, usually found at yard sales and thrift shops, and then painting in pop culture, sci-fi and fantasy characters or themes.

David’s unique style of art has become well known around the world,being featured in numerous media, including receiving praise from Star Trek’s, George Takei.
