This would be a dream come true for a Star Wars fan! I know it would be for my oldest daughter!
Back in 2016 at the Toronto FanExpo, my oldest daughter (12 years old at the time) and I got to meet and get a picture Mark Hamill. It was a dream for me 40 years in the making! I remember standing in line, not being able to see Mark seated behind a screen having pictures taken and every step we took forward my daughter, Alexa, would say to me, “Oh my god! I’m going to meet Luke!”
When we finally made it around the curtain, waiting for our turn, my daughter spun around to face me and said, “Dad! It’s him! I can’t breath! Seriously, I can’t breath!”. She was so excited that even the volunteer directing the line came up to us and commented on how excited my daughter looked.
It was our turn for a picture with Mark and it was just as I imagined. Exciting and and experience I would always remember. My daughter said that she was so excited and starstruck that she only remembers shaking his hand and “his hand was so soft!”
