From Star Wars to Samurai – by Artist Camille Woodthorpe

It is no secret, that among other things, George Lucas’ Star Wars was inspired by director Akira Kurosawa’s “Hidden Fortress” and the samurai culture when creating his universe. So it only seems natural for artists to combine Lucas’ space drama with ancient Japanese warriors.

One such person that has brilliantly combined the two is Australian artist Camille Woodthorpe. Check out her collection below and let us know what you think in the comments.
