Ahsoka Teaser Trailer Released by Disney+

 

“Warrior. Outcast. Rebel. Jedi.”

Disney+ has released the trailer for the upcoming Disney+ series, “Ashsoka” which will premiere August 2023.

Not only does the trailer include epic scenes of Ahsoka, played by Rosario Dawson fighting against dark Jedi but, we get LIVE action Star Wars Rebels characters, including Hera, Chopper and Sabine Wren! We also get a glimpse of, “Heir to the Empire”, Thrawn!
 

 

Today, at STAR WARS Celebration in London, Disney+ and Lucasfilm unveiled the thrilling teaser trailer for the highly anticipated Disney+ original series “Ahsoka,” starring Rosario Dawson in the title role. Set after the fall of the Empire, “Ahsoka” follows the former Jedi knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy. The teaser trailer and poster are available to download.

In addition to Dawson, “Ahsoka” stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren and Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla. The series is written by Dave Filoni, who executive produces alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Karen Gilchrist is co-executive producer.

 

Who is Ahsoka Tano?

Ahsoka first appeared in the 2008 animated film Star Wars: The Clone Wars. She is a Togruta Jedi Padawan who Anakin Skywalker trained during the Clone Wars. Ahsoka is known for her strong sense of justice, quick wit, and incredible combat skills. Despite facing many challenges and betrayals throughout her journey, she remains a loyal and compassionate friend to those she trusts. After leaving the Jedi Order, Ahsoka continued to fight against the Empire and played a significant role in the rebellion against Darth Vader and the Galactic Empire.
