Few characters in the Star Wars universe are as beloved and feared as Bo-Katan Kryze. Known for her skill with a blaster and her dedication to the people of Mandalore, Bo-Katan became a fan favorite since her introduction to the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
What an amazing two-episode event that seemed like a perfect blend of The Clone Wars Animated Series action and politics with Andor’s espionage and darker tone, but had call-backs to many other Star Wars movies and shows.
This week we went on a fun ride and really moved the story forward by returning to Kamino, and getting an update on some familiar faces, and setting up for a face-off between Crosshair and Hunter. The visuals of this episode were absolutely incredible, especially the scenes on Daro in the night and during the dogfight.
While this episode may have not pushed the story further in a serious way, it was a fun change of pace that opens the show up to new possibilities by further exploring the Star Wars criminal underworld by introducing The “Pyke Syndicate” and the “Durand Criminal Family” to the series.
